I need help making a website...?
Here閳ユ獨 a top 10 list of reasons I閳ユ獫e compiled of companies that either think they don閳ユ獩 need a website at all, or have an outdated site that badly needs updating:
1 - I閳ユ獡 too small of a company to have a website.
Well, I閳ユ獫e heard of many people that have a website for their one man band operation. Better still, others have sites for companies that they have started on the side.
2 - We are only based locally.
At first glance, this looks like a plausible reason not to have a website. However, it is not. Wonderful things like Geo-Targeting increase a local company閳ユ獨 visibility in the region. Bob Nicholson does a good job explaining how Google uses Geo-Targeting for AdSense marketing in this video:
3 - I have a small website already, and it works just fine.
Your current website might not fit your company閳ユ獨 needs as well as it used to. The site may be outdated and not display correctly in modern browsers. Also, if you choose to advertise, your site may not be search engine ready. There may also be broken to links that you have linked to in the past.
4 - I閳ユ獓 like to have a website, but I heard that it costs too much.
A new website or a good refresh of an old one starts in the hundreds of dollars for a basic site, depending on how much is involved. You could even get a canned template website for less than that (although not preferred, more about that later).

I need help making a website...?
I think you can choose one of them :
http://hosting-review.com
if you have any other Q%26#039;s just IM me.
Other Replys:You can go to numerous forum web sites that offer %26quot;free%26quot; hosting, but here is how I feel about those: You will either get hosting not good enough because it is free of corce and even if you get good hosting it isn%26#039;t reliable. It is probably ran by a bunch of teens or twenty year olds that can delete your website if they feel like it or whenever they have server crashes, your site will get deleted. No. Don%26#039;t go to them. If you want free, go to bravehost.net. I trust them and they have some cool things. If you want a domain, use bravehost or you can possibly use godaddy.com. They are also good. If you want something really easy and super dependable, try hosting here at yahoo. Even though there are better deals other places, we all trust yahoo. They are dependable and wont scam your credit card or anything. Good Luck!
Other Replys:a good host is godaddy.com
Another host option is Microsoft Office Live
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/office...
They would ultimately own that domain name, you can see what it offers from the link.
With the hosting just get the basic/ economy package where ever you go, you don%26#039;t need any of the extra%26#039;s they try to sell you and if you decide you do want some of those things later on you can buy them then.
Other Replys:Well do you want a good free host? Or a great host you have to pay for? If you%26#039;re paying use http://order.1and1.com/ and if you%26#039;re not use freewebs. I know freewebs isnt very respected cause its uh..free but you can do lots with it. If you wanna see a graphic site I made on it feel free to e-mail me. GOOD LUCK!
Other Replys:If you are currently a paid Internet subscriber, you are entitled to a %26quot;homepage%26quot; which often contains simple navigation and editing tools. And if you use the Netscape browser, the built-in Composer feature is a superior HTML authoring tool. You can easily generate a full-blown website as a Homepage. Nevertheless, the %26quot;homepage%26quot; URL is likely to be %26quot;http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscribe... name%26quot; and that URL can easily be overwritten via a redirection service, i.e., %26quot;mydomain.com%26quot; which allows you to link any registered domain name to %26quot;mask%26quot; another website. For example, should you type in %26quot;domainname.com%26quot;, you will be immediately transported to the homepage and the hompage URL of http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscriber... name will be masked by the domainname.com. And the charge for the redirection service [even at godaddy.com] is normally FREE. Here%26#039;s a demonstration: Type in the URL window: %26quot;www.pizzanextdoor.com%26quot; which will bring up their pizza website. Take note of the domain name. Then type in the URL window: %26quot;http://home.pacbell.net/vten/1a/pizzame... and you will see that this is the original homepage which is unmasked without the domain name!
Good luck!

Other Replys:There is so much to consider if you want to build a website that is popular, generates some income and gets alot of traffic. There are plenty of free hosts but I%26#039;ve found after much trial and error that the more services that a web host provides and the more support, the happier you will be.
I ended up going with an %26quot;all-in-one%26quot; web site company and I%26#039;ve been very happy. Here%26#039;s some free website building resources that I found helpful before I started: http://www.skincareresourcecenter.com/fr... and here%26#039;s another resource on website building tips: http://www.squidoo.com/website-tips/
Good Luck! (It%26#039;s really a lot of fun and it%26#039;s awesome to earn a little extra income along the way too!)
