I am thinking of signing up for 2 years, which comes down to $144 for two years.

500 GB however seems unnecessary, 10 GB would be more than I would need for my site.

Is there something available which is better for me than this?

Take a look at 1%26amp;1 Internet - http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=9818790 they have plans starting at $3.99 a month. i use them personally and professionally and have been very happy with them.
