Where's a good place to get a domain name from?

i want to start my own website. I don%26#039;t want to have a host website. where%26#039;s the best place on the internet to register a domain name.

Many people ask for free internet service/ or web site hosting and some of the answers in this post tell you where you can get this service for free but it is free for a reason .. They make their money off pop ups and advertisements to your visitors.

If it is a general page and you don%26#039;t mind then that is ok.

But for as low as 21.00 a year you can have your own domain hosted.

godaddy 8.99 to get a domian name

and have it hosted as low as 1 dollar a month at

That is the cheapest that I have found it but I pay the 3 dollar a month for the website builder package.

But not bad for your own domain name and hosting.

Other Replys:I was with Yahoo at first but then switched to GoDaddy. GoDaddy is cheap, its control panel is logical and easy to understand, its customer service responds quickly and they offer some extras with your domain that e.g. Yahoo doesn%26#039;t.
