Any way to get out of the 60 day lock when changing an email/name on a domain on Network Solutions?

Long story short, I%26#039;m a free lance web designer. I%26#039;m trying to transfer from Network Solutions to Host Monster. I needed a verification code and was unable to reach my employer, so I changed the e-mail thinking it%26#039;d be no big deal to get the verification code that way.



But security is tight.. like I%26#039;m transferring the president or something. So now it%26#039;s lock and unable to transfer for 60 days.



Can I call NS and get them to get rid of this? Can I get my boss to call them and verify that it is her domain and she is wanting to transfer it?

I work for Network Solutions and the process is easy enough. You can call customer support 1.888.642.9675 and they should be able to verify the ownership of the account and remove the lock. I am glad you agree that security is tight which is a good thing since domain names are very vluable to their owners. if you have any problems pls write to me shashib at networksolutions.com - probably better for the admin contact which seesm to be your boss to call.
