Yes, you can. You can host your website at different hosting company. It doesn%26#039;t have to be your domain registrant to host it. All you need to do is to get an IP from your hosting company and point your domain to that IP.

Your host does not have to be at the same place you bought your domain, you can change your name servers %26amp; point your domain name to another host using DNS.



If you are just starting out, I would recommend getting hosting and domain at the same place, such as a place that gives you a free domain name when you purchase hosting, etc.



Other Replys:Getting the domain name and host at the same company is great. The only forseeable problem is if you decide that you want to change host at some point, and the domain name belongs to the hosting company. If you buy the domain name, you can do what you want with it. You can change host at your whim, if you find a more reliable or cheaper host at some point in the future.
