I want to start a web server at home to host a site. I installed a Ubuntu map server with webmin and I registered for a domain on yahoo. and I started an acount on Dyndns. Now what do i do???? Where Do I start first? Is there an option in Yahoo that allow me to connect these 3 parts together?? How would the website be forwarded into the server at home???
Ubuntu, Yahoo domain and DYNDNS???
You have to point the name servers from yahoo to your home server or create a CNAME like domainname.com to your ipaddress then you can host your website from then on
